I’m so excited to host for the second time a grief and loss themed table at Philly Zine Fest on 12/12 with MoonVine Grief—that’s me.
Grief can be isolating. It can be hard to find the words, or to know where to turn when someone else is hurting. Zines and other handmade creations offer a way to share what we’ve lived through, make room for complicated feelings, and remind one another that we don’t have to move through loss alone.
That’s why I’m bringing this table together: to make a welcoming space for work created around grief, loss, care, and the many ways we keep going. I hope you’ll stop by to browse, say hello, or simply spend a little time with us talking about death and grief. You don’t need to know what to say. You’re welcome just as you are.
I’ll share a list of the participating creators and links to their work here:
Howl & Hold Volumes 1 & 2 edited and compiled by me

If you can’t make it to Philly Zine Fest, I hope you’ll still visit the creators at their individual shops, websites, or events. Supporting their work wherever you find it helps these stories and the people who make them reach one another.
Whether you’re carrying a loss, supporting someone who is, or simply curious, there’s room for you at the table. I’d love to see you on 12/12.
